Teaching Experience

When I began playing I had a great amount of help from my father who, along with well-worn copies of Stick Control and Syncopation laid the foundations for later studies with Lou Williamson Jr. (Canadian Forces School of Music), Canadian jazz greats Bob Maclaren and Barry Elmes, Ray Rielly (Toronto Symphony Orchestra) and the legendary Jim Blackley.

Since moving to the UK in 2007 I've maintained a private teaching practice in my home studio where I've helped beginners, enthusiasts and aspiring professionals achieve their goals.

I provide individual drum set lessons and whole class percussion instruction in schools in Luton and Central Bedfordshire both privately and on behalf Inspiring Music.

Previously, I was a teacher, Company Secretary and later the Director of The New School of Music in Leighton Buzzard from 2011 through 2015. I taught BTEC and diploma level drums for AMS @ North Hertfordshire College in Hitchin (2013/14), and instructed at Music Gym in Watford (2015).
